| water is a game changer, no mater how much you eat if you drink lots of water you will lose weight quicker then just working out and eating junk. | |

| Not sure if water will do that if you're still eating junk food. Well, gotta try it out. *starts chugging water* | |

| Well, water does fill you up more. So I guess it can 'help' with losing weight. | |

| I've been drinking a lot more water lately. In some ways, I miss the caffeine I was getting from soda but I know water is a lot more healthy for me. | |

| My advice if you are going to "go water". Get a filter either for the faucet or a pitcher that filters water. There are popular ones like Britta or Zero water. I'd say drink more water, but slowly with the soda. Lets say one less can a day (or week). Honestly, I've been able to do it a few times but I always get back to drinking soda again. At least if you do, you will be having some water in your diet. | |

It has multiple definitions. What you consume is one of them.

| During the summer, I kicked out of the habit of soda and replaced it with water, I had so much energy and felt better when not drinking it. Sadly, I fell off the wagon and drink soda now, working on it again. But by switching just for those three months, I lost about 10 pounds just from cutting soda and switching to water.
Other than that, I have to disagree with the idea that water makes you lose weight. What makes you lost weight in my personal opinion is healthier choices (the less ingredients the better), exercise, and moderation. It is okay to have junk food, but you can't eat whatever you want. Even if you are a person who doesn't gain weight, do you know how many additives and chemicals are in processed foods? It just isn't healthy all together.
